John and I had a great, low key date night tonight. I cooked Onion Burgers. Sounds gross, but they are so good and easy and make great leftovers.
1 pound of ground beef (browned) - makes about 6 burgers
2 cans of Campbell's French Onion Soup
Step 1: Brown ground beef
Step 2: Pour 2 cans of French Onion soup into pan
Step 3: Turn stove on Medium heat and cook for about 20 minutes or until most of the juice is cooked into the meat
Step 4: Toast hamburger buns
Step 5 (optional): Add mayo and mustard to buns
Step 6: Put meat onto hamburger buns
I use Wavy Lays to scoop my extra hamburger meat up.
After we ate dinner, we went to see The Equalizer. The movie was action packed and entertaining. I thought the entire movie was cast really well. Denzel Washington was awesome, as always! However, it was pretty gory, long, and left a lot of questions unanswered. I would recommend seeing it in the theatre but not rent or buy it.
