September Blogging Challenge

Thank you to Gracie at Girl Meets Life for coming up with this awesome September Blogging Challenge!

As I am still extremely new to the blogging scene, I thought this challenge would be the perfect way for you all to learn a little more about me and my weirdness!

1. Your goal(s) for the month of September.

I am a huge soda drinker, but lately it has taken a toll on me. I feel like a giant bowling ball walking around, and my clothing is less than impressed with my soda addiction. So, I am trying to drink more water. The water might be flavored, but it will still be better than four or five Pepsi or Mountain Dews throughout the day.

From all of the soft drinks I've been consuming lately, my teeth have been turning awful colors, and my skin is breaking out more than usual. This leads me into my second goal for the month of September - keeping up with a nightly/skin care routine.

I have just started really getting into the whole skin care routine within the past couple of months, but it is something that I can never seem to stick with. I am lucky that my face does not break out very often. If it does, it will be just one giant pimple, in the most obvious place ever, and lingers for quite a long time. I know taking care of your skin is a huge must, and let's be honest, I don't want to look like an old hag when I am 40 because I was too lazy to take care of my skin.

2. Something you're proud of accomplishing recently.

I just recently planned my company's annual golf tournament. This was a huge deal for me! Sure I have worked countless weddings, but golf, I don't know anything about that. But, of course, I didn't want anyone to know that. What if the players found out the golf tournament was planned by someone who didn't have the foggiest idea about golf? They wouldn't want to play in the tournament, and I wouldn't blame them! But with the help of a few friends and the boyfriend, the golf tournament went off with a bang!

I was told attendance is always really low and that was something that I wanted to change this year. We had 17 four-man teams sign-up for the tournament, along with 24 hole sponsors! That is seven more teams and ten more hole sponsors than we had anticipated signing up! I could not have been more proud of myself for what I accomplished and learned throughout the entire experience.

It's not too late! Come join in on the September Blogging Challenge! I would love to read what your answers are for each of the challenge questions, even if you just want to answer some of them in the comments below!

DISCLAIMER: This is not a sponsored post. All opinions shared are my own - straight out of my roaming brain.

  1. The golf tournament was great and that guy in the last cart on the right is kinda cute!
