So Unknown About Jo Malone

While I was in Austin, I made a little time for shopping. I went to The Domain, which is about 20 minutes away from downtown. Normally, I wouldn't take a 20 minute cab ride to go shopping, but there were so many stores that we don't have in Mississippi or anywhere close for that matter. For instance, they had a Zara! The closest Zara to us is in Texas or Florida, which is much further than a cab ride or day trip. I did take a stroll through Neiman Marcus and stopped by the Jo Malone counter.

I've been reading how amazing the new scent, Wood Sage and Sea Salt, smells, so I wanted to smell it for myself. I was a little apprehensive because the ever so popular Peony and Blush Suede smells like an old lady to me. But I ended up loving the Wood Sage and Sea Salt! Unfortunately they were sold out of the candles, so the nice salesman let me smell another scent that is similar to it called Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. He was definitely spot on! This scent smells like a man's cologne in the winter time. I ended up buying the home candle, which was ridiculously expensive. If I would've known how much it was in the very beginning than it would probably still be sitting in Texas. But overall, I am glad I got it.

I had also just missed their sale by a day, but the salesman gave me the free gift anyway. So nice! All three of the smells are amazing as well. I almost like them more than my candle. Needless to say, I do like Jo Malone smells, just not very many of them because they smell like old people going on a date.

What is your favorite Jo Malone scent?

All opinions shared are my own - straight out of my roaming brain.
